All “HBC” and “HBL” steel sections are cold-formed from high-performance steel, enabling the strength-to-weight ratio for each section to be maximized.
The steel used meets the requirements of the ASTM A607 grade 50 Standard with regard to high-strength sheet steel and strip steel with low-alloy Columbium or Vanadium, hot-rolled or cold-rolled.
Bocad is state-of-the-art fabrication software that enables conceptualizing parts in “3D” using CADD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Drafting/Computer Aided Manufacturing) principles, thus allowing for higher efficiency.
In addition to the many benefits provided by Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), the latter also has the advantage of maintaining an equal level of quality.
The project begins with the design phase using CAD (Computer Aided Design) and easily moves to the fabrication phase using CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing). The details contained in the shop drawings provide for a better understanding of what is required and allow for high-quality production in less time.
Our fabrication software allows us to conceptualize parts in “3D”. This enables maximum efficiency and a good understanding of the assembly required.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) limits the risk of errors while increasing the degree of accuracy. The semi-automatic punch & die process and the punch press machine-tool adapted to specific equipment for the fabrication of our components enable obtaining higher quality when fabricating parts. CADD/CAM fabrication ensures consistent level of quality, from the first part to the last.
Since our software is compatible with other design software such as AutoCAD Desktop or database programs such as EXCEL, LOTUS 123, APPROACH, and others, it allows for greater work flexibility.
As PassTech metal walkways require little or no welding, they can quickly and easily be assembled and erected by any unskilled personnel. Such walkways provide many other benefits, proving they have the requisites to produce the desired results.
